East
Île aux Cerfs
Île aux Cerfs is an island off the east coast reached by boat, with sandbanks and lagoon colour that photograph exceptionally well from the air.
Best time to shoot here
Early boats arrive before the day-trippers. The light is best in the first two hours after arrival, and the sandbank at low tide is the location worth planning the whole session around.
Getting there and access
Access requires a boat transfer from Trou d'Eau Douce, which must be booked in advance and adds cost and time. Tide tables determine what is possible on the day.
